| Bill took his Class "B' amateur exam in February 1948 and and was assigned W9ERG a couple of months or so later. He has held W9ERG continuously since 1948. While in the service during the Korean War (S/Sgt. Signal Corps) he operated K4USA, WAR, HZ1AB, AEH, AJ4AB, AJ4AC and helped out with AFRD (Saudi Arabia). |
| The 75A4 and Viking Desk KW were purchased new in 1958 and have been in service continuously since that time-42 years. The 75A4 s/n is 5147 and the Viking Desk is s/n 537 ("They" made about 402 of them). S/N not number built. |
